We are excited to announce that the Selig Symposium for Surgical Artificial Intelligence is returning this fall! After the success of our inaugural event last September, we’re thrilled to invite you to the second annual symposium. This year’s symposium will take place over two half days on Friday, September 12th, and Saturday, September 13th, at the Medical College of Wisconsin main campus (8701 W ­­Watertown Plank Road, Milwaukee, WI, 53226). This CME event will highlight a broad range of topics related to artificial intelligence (AI) in modern surgical practice.

SPEAKERS

This year’s keynote and featured speakers include Dr. Thomas Kannampallil, Dr. Andrew Gonzalez, Sam Burmeister, Dr. Andrew Gostine, and Dr. Naqi Khan. Additional presenters and panelists include Dr. Cornelius Thiels, Dr. Bill Hogan, Dr. Sachin Pawar, and other AI experts from Froedtert&MCW. This year’s speaker lineup brings together a dynamic group of experts spanning surgery, data science, health systems, and AI. From chief data scientists and academic leaders to clinical innovators and startup founders, our presenters offer a wide range of perspectives on how artificial intelligence is transforming surgical care and research. Attendees can expect insights grounded in both cutting-edge technology and real-world clinical experience.

Under featured courses, select “Artificial Intelligence in Surgery Symposium,” or select the Specialties tab, and find the Surgery page. Follow the prompts to register.

Do you have innovative research or a compelling project related to surgical AI? We are accepting submissions for the “Research in Motion: Surgical AI Pitches” session on Friday, September 12th. This is an opportunity to share your work with a community of experts, collaborators, and thought leaders.
