AI Quarterly: AI Pilot Purgatory

Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, WI

Friday, Mar 20 from 9 am to 11 am

Overview
A discussion around the cycle of endless AI experimentation and how to shift the approach.

As AI implementation continues to scale across organizations, many are finding themselves trapped in “Pilot Purgatory” – a cycle filled with endless AI experimentation that never reaches the bottom line. Why are most AI initiatives failing to deliver measurable value? What challenges and successes have others faced? How can this narrative be shifted?

Join us for this AI Community Quarterly event hosted at Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW), where we’ll break down the hurdles of AI implementation and have open discussions about shifting the approach. This discussion will take place within CUW’s AI & Quantum Innovation Lab – a space that opened in October of 2025 with a mission to treat technologies as tools of service.

This event features a keynote speaker from Sam Sova, CEO and Co-Founder of Subatomic – a tech startup focused oncreating customizable agentic AI co-workers and has recently raised $7 million to scale their platform. There will also be an interactive exercise, panel discussion, and quality networking time.
