Yash Zode is a software engineer specializing in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision with a passion for making emerging technologies practical and accessible. He serves as Chief Volunteer Officer for Mitobyte, a tech event organization, helping put on community initiatives, host technology events, and connect founders, entrepreneurs, engineers, students, investors, and business leaders to create opportunities for collaboration across the region.
Yash intentionally chose southeast Wisconsin as a place to start and grow his career because the region’s collaborative mindset inspired him. He found a community where businesses, universities, and entrepreneurs freely work together to accelerate innovation.
One of the most rewarding aspects of his work with Mitobyte is seeing students, engineers, and entrepreneurs gain the confidence to explore emerging technologies and transform their ideas into reality.
But for Yash, being involved in Milwaukee’s tech community goes beyond events.
“Technology is most valuable when it helps people. Whether I’m mentoring someone, speaking at a community event, volunteering my technical expertise, or connecting people with shared goals, my focus is always the same: use what I know to help others learn, collaborate, and create something meaningful together.”
Yash firmly believes that the true strength of a community lies in the people who invest their time, knowledge, and experience to help it grow. His message for others: Share knowledge freely, celebrate the success of others, and always look for ways to create opportunities to help others grow.
